- Accusations Against Anti-ICE Protesters
- Protests After Death
- Federal Presence Reinforced
According to the EFE news agency, the White House issued harsh accusations this Monday against protesters demonstrating against immigration raids and against agents of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE).
According to the federal government, these protests are directly interfering with security force operations in different parts of the country.
The statements come amid heightened tension following the death of Renee Good, a 37-year-old woman who was shot by a federal agent last Wednesday during an immigration operation in Minneapolis.
The case has sparked massive protests and raised questions about the use of force by federal authorities.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that protesters are “actively trying to obstruct law enforcement operations.”
Speaking to Fox News, Leavitt said that acts of harassment against ICE agents were recorded throughout the weekend.
The official maintained that these actions are intended to hinder the immigration mandate of President Donald Trump.

Leavitt strongly defended ICE’s work, stating that its mission is to remove “undocumented criminals, murderers, and rapists” from U.S. cities.
She also emphasized that President Trump fully supports ICE agents, whom she described as “brave” for their work in the field.
Nationwide Protests and the Renee Good Case

More than 1,000 protests took place across the United States over the weekend.
The demonstrations were called both in opposition to the Trump administration’s immigration policy and in response to the death of Renee Good in Minneapolis.
Good died after being shot by a federal agent while inside her vehicle near an immigration operation.
Leavitt insisted that the agent acted in self-defense.
According to the spokesperson, the officer “was fully within his rights to defend himself” and described the woman as part of an organized group interfering with police operations.
The spokesperson also blamed Democratic leaders for the climate of confrontation.
She accused them of protecting “pedophiles and criminals” above the interests of citizens and federal agents.
Reinforcement of Agents and Calls for an Investigation

The White House confirmed the deployment of additional federal agents to Minneapolis.
The announcement was made by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who said that hundreds of additional officers will be sent.
According to Noem, the goal is to ensure that ICE and Border Patrol agents can continue their work safely.
Local media estimate that these reinforcements will join approximately 2,100 federal agents who had already been sent to Minnesota earlier this month.
At the same time, Renee Good’s death has raised questions about the actions of the agent involved.
Local authorities and the family’s attorneys stated that the videos released so far do not conclusively show an immediate threat to the officer.
Legal organizations have called for an independent and transparent investigation.
They emphasize that the incident occurred in the context of an immigration operation and not during the commission of a violent crime.
Although no new protests have been announced in Minnesota for now, gatherings are expected around federal buildings following the announced reinforcement of agents.
Outrage Grows After Renee Good’s Death and Protests in Minneapolis
Public discontent with border enforcement agents (ICE) is higher than ever following the killing of Renee Good during an immigration operation.
Good was a U.S. citizen shot by a federal agent who, according to authorities, acted in self-defense, although videos and local leaders have questioned that version.
Good’s death has highlighted that both citizens and immigrants can become involved in similar situations, intensifying national outrage.
This has led to protests in Minneapolis and gatherings in other cities demanding justice, an end to the operations, and a review of immigration policies.
